The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the official notification of Graduate Level (CGL) 2018 tomorrow, May 5.

SSC CGL 2018: 10 things you need to know
- SSC has also notified that the recruitment of constable (GD) in CAPFs and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination 2018 will be out on June 9.
- Combined Graduate Level (SSC CGL) Examination 2018 will be conducted by SSC to fill several posts across the country.
- The students have to appear in all the four tiers of the examination (Tier- 1 to 4) to get a job in SSC.
- All the candidates who wish to appear for the examination should have Indian Nationality.
- As reported, the basic qualification to appear for the SSC CGL examination is Bachelor's degree from a recognised university or institute university. Even the candidates who are in the final year of graduation can also appear for the examination. The candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation can also apply.
- Age limit: As per reports, the age limit has been increased to 30 years from 27 years. The minimum age to appear for the examination is 20 years.
- Selection process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Tier-1 and Tier-2 examination followed by Tier-3 which will be in descriptive format. Further, those candidates who will clear the Tier 3 will have to give Tier-4 which is computer based proficiency test as well as the document verification
- After the SSC CGL 2018 official notification is released, all the candidates can apply for the same at ssc.nic.in
- Further, this year, the SSC CGL Tier-1 examination will be held between July 25 and August 20 at various test centres across the nation.
- Every year, nearly 15 lakh candidates appear for the SSC CGL examination.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) was established on November 4, 1975. The organisation works under the Government of India and recruits staff for several posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices.
It is headquartered at New Delhi. Presently, there are seven regional offices at Allahabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chennai, Bangalore and two Sub-Regional Offices at Raipur and Chandigarh.
