IBPS Clerk 2017: Changes in Exam Pattern & Vacancies
After IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk notification is also
out but this time with some major changes in its pattern. Also
this time vacancies have been reduced as compared to the previous year. As some
of the banks have not reported the number of vacancies as you can also notice
in the official notification, you can also expect revised vacancy later on. So
buckle up and start your preparation and before you delve deep into the

changes in IBPS Clerk is taken up from the pattern of SBI Clerk.

1. 25 Minutes Increase
As
compared to the IBPS Clerk previous year pattern, an overall increase of 25
minutes is introduced in the IPBS Clerk exam this year.
2. Computer Clubbed with Reasoning
Computer
Knowledge is clubbed with reasoning ability section. Earlier computer knowledge
section comprise 40 number of questions, the time allotted was 20 minutes for
20 marks. According to the changes brought, now as computer knowledge is
clubbed with Reasoning Ability, this section carries 50 Questions of 60 Marks
in 45 minutes.
3. Increase in the number of questions of Quant
& GA.
Quantitative
aptitude section and general awareness section has seen a significant increase
in the number of questions and time allotted. Previous year Quantitative
Aptitude section comprised 40 Questions and General Awareness (with special
reference to Banking) 40 Questions. This year Quantitative Aptitude section and
General/Financial Awareness section will be comprised of 50-50 Questions each.
4. Sectional Time Allocated to Reasoning is
Increased to 45 Minutes
As there
are changes in the number of questions in Quantitative aptitude section and
general awareness, sectional time allotted is also change. This change is seen
in the reasoning section due to its clubbing with computer knowledge.

As we
all know that Preliminary Examination of IBPS RRB PO is already over. Many of
you would have given a performance that would be of first water while others
might have given a performance that they aren’t much satisfied with. Students,
RRB PO Mains Examination is scheduled to be held in the month of November, so,
don’t chop and change, just make up your mind.
If you
think your performance was good enough to make it to the Mains Examination,
stop horsing around, jump on bandwagon and start preparing for the Mains
Examination. The examination will be held in the month of November, so, you
have hardly got 2 months to prepare for it. Successful aspirants are always
advised to make hay while the sun shines. Start preparing for it with sheer
determination. Whenever you feel demotivated, dream about the sybaritic life
lying ahead of your success, it will definitely motivate you and let you work
hard with full allegiance and devotion. You can be on the ball to face the
Mains Examinations only if you start preparing for it right away. Organize all
the things you want to do and fix your timetable around it. Understand the
syllabus by going through previous years’ papers and official guidelines. Fix a
day, and a time, and give a test that simulates the real examination, every
week or after every 2-3 days (as per your requirements). Once you are used to
giving such tests, any online examination will no longer seem outlandish to you
and you will be holding all the aces while attempting RRB PO Mains Examination
2017.
All
those who are aiming for the Mains Examination have to bear it in mind that the
fight is going to be very tough this year. Moreover, every banking examination
this year showed some or the other changes in the pattern of examination. The
pattern of SBI PO Mains examination too hard changed this year, the questions
asked were framed in a different as well a complicated manner that blew almost
everyone’s mind. Now, most of the questions in the General Awareness Section
are based on banking awareness only, which is also one of the major changes
introduced in the pattern of banking examinations this year. So, all that you
need to do is to be prepared for a bolt from the blues and prepare accordingly
for RRB PO Mains Examination 2017.
Some of
the aspirants would be down in dumps because they aren’t sure of their success.
Students, instead of getting disheartened by your performance in RRB PO
Preliminary Examination 2017, get motivated and start working on you
preparations for the examinations that are yet to come. You can get a second
bite at the cherry in the IBPS Examinations as IBPS PO and Clerk Examinations are
