1 bje A4 size ka blank papr de diya or kaha ki jo language preference bhari thi usi 3 language mai koi bhi 4-5 line likho. Then document verification hui + biometric verification hui. Fir mera number aaya interview ke liye.

Now interview scene

There were 5 member team - 4 males & 1 female

after I entered in the room, I looked at the panel and wished them all (good evening) & then I specially wished the female member to build rapport

I reached the venue before time, saw no. o candidate from morning  shift still waiting for their turn. Around 2:30 they called my name for verification, but that was the lunch break so i have to wait for half an hour. Verification start at around 3 PM they gave me a format to fill my language which i had chose in the application form and in that order and i have to write few lines in that languages. Then simply check and all documents and verify from original one. 

Now I wait in front of interview room, bell rang and i entered the room, there were total 6 panelist (5 male 1 female). I wish them and they offered me seat. 

M1: Briefly introduce yourself?

Me: Gave proper answer.

M2: You chose to answer in Hindi, why?

Me: Explain in hindi.

M3: Who is the Chief minister of AP?

Me: Gave answer

M3: You have done your B.tech in ECE. Then you must know what is packet switching and its advantage?

Me: explain nicely

M3: On which language mobile phone work.

Me: Explained

M4: Name the wining party in bihar election.

Me: answer

M5: Your Weakness and strength

Me: Explain

F1: What is Communication

Me: Explain

My conclusion: Interview was quite good and got positive gesture from  panel and found convinced in all my response. Atmosphere was friendly all panelists were friendly and they always make you very comfortable throughout your interview.

I am Sridharan Kumar from Tamil Nadu. My Interview happened on 16th Nov at Virudhu Nagar, Tamil Nadu for IT Officer scale 2. My interview experience is given below. After initial document verification and finger print check, I was called for Interview.

3 men and 1 woman was there in the interview panel.

Banking Sector : Asked about Jan Dhan Yojana, Financial Inclusion, Empowering rural areas economically

Current Affairs : No questions

Educational Background : Basic information

Family Background : Basic information

Hobbies / Area of Interest : No questions

Professional Experience : The female interviewer asked me the nature of work am doing, my experience, how my experience is going to help rural people, etc.

Miscellaneous : Asked about paddy and sugarcane crops and details about them. Asked whether I am willing to relocate to rural area from urban area. Asked whether I am ready to move to less salary job when compared to my current job.

Overall, the interview was smooth. No technical questions were asked. They wanted to know whether the candidate is ready to serve in rural areas.

I)Hello friends, I Dharamsoth Santsham am done with my rrb scale 1 officer interview

mine was panel at 8:30

Part 1:

As we entered, we were asked to present our documents. Be careful because they see line by line in every document and for reserved candidates, caste certificate should be latest one. When my turn came, I took only first page of interview call letter. Then the scrutinizer asked where is second page, I told him I thought its not necessary then he told asked me to bring second sheet. Then I rushed to the nearest shop and presented it to him. He suggested me to never repeat same kind of mistake again. I said okay sir.

Part 2:

I was 4th in the list and the candidates who went inside before me told me that panel is good. Just do your best. The panel consist of 3 Men and 1 Lady. I wished them and I sat and now everything was for real.

3. What's your Educational qualification?

4. You are from NIT Calicut. Why your percentage is so low?

5. In which stream you pursued your B.Tech?

6. What is difference between electrical and Electronics engineering as I am from ECE background?

11. What is Repo rate?

12. NEFT vs RTGS and swift code?

13. They made me read Hindi news paper?

14. Why did you wearing plain shirt?

And they said good and thank you and I told them thank you and left the room. Finally I could say the interview was very simple and panel was very supportive. I hope my experience will help you any queries comment below.

4 members in the panel (including 1 female member)

I was the 5th person to enter the interview room. I dressed well with a tie. (But I was the only person wearing tie that day). Till the end of the interview, I maintained the smile and pleasant feel.

My interview questions:

Q: Introduction?

A: Introduced.

Q: About ur family?

A:Told the details. (They expected in detail. For example: I said "My sister is working as a teacher in Bodinayakanur, Theni". But the panel asked pvt  or Govt school)

Q: Why r u leaving IT?

A: I told them that I was Looking for a secure job and instead of working for an American company, I want to utilize my IT skills for our Indian banking sector.

Q: Current project role & Responsibilities?

A: Told them the details and I said I'm working in innovation team as well.

Q: Panel asked about any live example in innovation?

A: I told them about the automation which I did. It increases productivity, makes company profitable.

Q: You are making company profitable. Company will give you good pay and allowances. But you will not get that salary here. Then why do you want to join gramin bank? (Asked this question again in a different way)

A: Irrespective of the performance, even if we do good, they will throw us, in case of recession. But that is not the case in gramin bank.

Q: They asked me about outsourcing of my client?

A: I frankly told them that I don't have much details on that sir. But they are running a manufacturing plant in Goa, India.

Q: How can RRBs improve villages?

A: Contributing to the country's development, increasing agricultural yield by offering loans for farmers, helping farmers to use  latest technology. Educating people by offering loans, increasing literacy rate, generating employment, women empowement., etc.

Q: How are gramin bank make capital?

A: Deposits from people, central government, state government and sponsor bank.

Q: Is there any gramin banks in ur area?

A: Yes sir, near perumal temple in Bodinayakanur.

Q: Is that situated near your home?

A: Yes sir, situated near my home.

Q: Do you want to be posted there?

A: No Sir, considering about the area. I am eager to work anywhere in India. (Panel look satisfied)

Q: What you do in Rdbms?

A: Creating tables and views. Inserting, updating and deleting data. Apart from that I am creating cursors, triggers and procedures. And I write nested queries as well for my project. We do entire database management for our project.

Q: WWW?

A: Simply said world wide web. But It could have been better by giving additional details such as Tim bernes lee, internet, example of a website address.

Q: Female member: Are you sure?

A: Yes madam, I am sure (In mind, LOL)

Q: Where are you staying in Chennai?

A: Near Tambaram sir.

Panel: You are answering like a CBI officer. Be transparent. Say the exact place?

(Smiled and said sorry) I am staying in camp road, near Tambaram.

Q: What is the rain situation in that area?

A: Heavy rain in Chennai. Stagnation of water till knee.

Q: Who is responsible for that?

A: Municipal corporation will do the cleaning activities. Apart from that people should also have equal responsibility.

Q: Panel said "swatch bharat"?

A: I said yes sir that too is needed.

Q: You are going to work for RRB, Villages. Tell about Agricultural crop Seasons?

A: Confirmed the question again. I couldn't recollect the names of the season sir, but 3 seasons are there. (While coming out of the interview room, I got it. Kharif, Rabi and Zaid. Felt sad)

Q: Are you sure that 3 seasons?

A: Yes sir, I am sure.

Q: You scored good marks in B.Sc. then why cross major after B.Sc?

A: Sir honestly speaking, there is more employment opportunities for engineering than arts and science stream. And I am interested in computer as well so I joined MCA. ( Panel looks not much satisfied)

Q: Science is also having good opportunities now days?

A: Yes sir. Science is also having good opportunities. But comparatively, engineering has more opportunities than science. (Panel looks satisfied)

Q: Crops cultivated in your area?

A: Mainly Cardamom, coffee and tea.

Q: They asked about Khanja? Is it also famous there, right? Why didn't you say that?

A: Yes sir. But cultivating khanja is illegal. So I didn't say that.

Panel said: you can leave now.

I wished them "Thank you sirs, thank you madam". Have a great day with smile.

Mostly general questions, less technical. Very cordial interviewers. Let's see.

Me: Answered, didn't seem satisfied..

Me: Sir SARFESI Act, don't know why but fumbled in its full form (M1 helped me here:)

M2: What if any farmer didn't repay your loan, kya uski zameen cheen loge?

M3: Why all you engineering students coming in this field. Felt like why he is saying like thisis.

Asked fellow members if anyone wanted to ask something. Everyone said No. All said thank you, and All the very Best. again everyone was smiling. Greeted thank you

When I was about to leave, they started discussing about my intro. but didn't turned back....

Panel - II 

I reached at 12:30. Everything happened very fast. At 1:00 we were told to show interview call letter with ID proof
and get entry. Then they called some names from every panel to come out. Thank god my name was there. Be sure
that your name, father’s name which is in the Application form should be same as well as in your Educational
Documents. 

Firstly they did biometric verification very strictly. Checking every candidate's left thumb by scratching with their own
thumbs.

Secondly document verification was done very calmly. I was the 12th out of 24 candidates in my panel for interview. I
was taken to first floor and told to sit outside room where only one sir was there. After 5-10 min one mam came. I
wished her good morning outside only. Then after 2-3 min my name was called. At that time only one mam and
Three sir were there in the interview panel. I wished them good morning. My turn will come around 3.45pm.

Me: answered

M1: what is the need of RRB in India.
Me: explained them well. They seamed satisfied.

M3: what is Banking Ombudsman and what is Single Window in bank .
Me: explained

Me: answered but I have little bit Knowledge about it .

M1: Tell me about your state and home city.
Me: I comes from Rajasthan, so I answered this question very well

At Last the lady asked me only a question

F1: what is Name of India’s First Lady prime Minister.
Me: told

So after 20 Min my interview was over. They wishes me good luck and gave me a sweet (toffy) to me Their Behaviour was very good and supporting.
 That's it friends. No questions from any subject.  They  asked much about banking. Interview was very general. I was neither nervous nor scared although it was my first interview. So just relax and enjoy this challenge.
Please remain honest to them. I really enjoyed it. 

 II) RRB Officer scale 1 

Time 8.30am Panel 1. 
Venue PNB, Vibhtuti Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow 

Reached around 8.15. A tent had been set up in front of the entrance to the main interview venue. Sat there. Went in for verification around 10.30. Biometric verification was done first. Then I was asked to write 3993 and my name in English and Hindi.
This was followed by document verification. Done without any hassle since all my documents were in order.
After that I was taken to the place where the interviews were going on. My turn came after 15 mins.

3M and 1F (1 male had gone out. he came back when my interview was done)

Wished them and the head of the panel asked me to take a seat.

F1: So you did your schooling from St Francis College?
Me: Yes ma'am.

F1: What did you do after school?
Me: Ma'am I have done my bachelor in arts in English and Economics (actually i have a 3 year gap because I went to do engineering but I wasn't able to complete it. I had a feeling that she wanted me to say that but I didn't because there is no point saying things that are not being asked)

F1: Why do You want join banking sector?
Me: Bank offers tremendous growth opportunities and it is a respectable profession in India. Also it is a secure job.

F1: Ok so you're looking for career growth?
Me: yes ma'am.

F1: What will be your profile and what will u do while working in the bank? told

F1: let's say that a new rrb branch is about to come up in a village. then how will u inform people about it and get customer?
Me: ma'am i would set up an ultra small branch and take the help of influential villagers like the panchayat members and others so as to tell the people that saving their money with bank is a better option rather than converting their money in gold assets and taking the help of moneylenders who charge high rate of interest. I would tell them that I'm there to help them and they can get better profit by investing their surplus money with a bank.

F1: Ok so what's the head of the panchayat called?
Me: sarpanch. they're very influential and people listen to them. also Sarpanch nowadays are educated and liberal and they know that the govt and banks are there to help them out.

F1: ok so now we will talk in Hindi also.
Me: sure ma'am

M1: so u did economics ?
Me: yes sir

M1: ok so tell me what is gdp. told properly
Me: tell me the gdp base year and current growth rate of gdp. i was a lil confused about the exact figure so i said "sorry sir i don't know"

M1: ok tell me how are banks helping the country.
then they asked me to go
Before going i told the head that i had met him once before in ibps clerk interview.
I maintained eye contact throughout and i wasn't nervous at all( previously gave IBPS clerk and SBI PO interview)
i just forgot to smile all the time. i did smile at regular intervals though.
I found it quite easy. I might be wrong but the panel looked tired also.


III) IBPS RRB PO:
DATE:22-11-15
VENUE: PNB IIT ,gomti nagar,lucknow.
PANEL:3
TIMINGS:8.30 am
PANEL MEMBERS: 1F +4M.

I reached the venue at 7 am...thinking that I would be the first one to reach but there were already many candidates present there..and all of them in perfect corporate looks..amazing a sight!!!

Then they let us enter the institute at 8 am.By 9 am I was done with biometrics.They made us write our own name in both English and Hindi and also a number in words (eg.teen hazaar chaar so(3400) ) in  same languages.No paragraph ,no newspaper sort of writing.After this,documents were checked and i was nervous because i was not having my final year mark sheet but a colg certified internet copy of mark sheet. Mam who was checking my documents asked me to give my pass certificate but i never knew that pass certificate of both 10th and 12 th was required..So I have not brought them.but incidentally i found my 10 th pass certificate and presented to her..By that time I was nervous,very nervous and somehow i don’t know what happened i started crying a bit..mam comforted me saying...beta koi baat nahi pass certificate nahi hai toh..it’s not that much required.but i realised that  the outburst was because of the interview pressure and then i was relieved and feeling light and enthusiastic.

This was my third interview so far and best one also . they are giving
8-10 min to each student , the panel was ossum and supportive too.

4 question : how you r different from other candidate

5 question : situational question : if a bank employee , one person

my ans- I said I will convince him to take loan on his Fixed deposit ...

they all said perfect answer , You can go now...

I reported on the time. Then after finished with bio-metric and documents verification. My turn came at around 9:45 AM. Once I entered the room, I was asked to have a seat. I thanked them and had my seat. Panel was of five members (4M, 1F). Interview started in Gujarati language.

Q- What is competency mapping?

Q- What is bank mitra? What do they do?

That's it. Interview ended with good luck wishes from them. I am quite satisfied with the way I answered. Panel members too seemed to be satisfied with the answers. They all were humble and asking questions with direct answers.

I reached Rohtak City by 11 am. At approximately 1 pm we were called for the interview. They started checking the language proficiency and we were made to write on the sheet of the paper. Then started the document verification. Everyone was very helping and supporting. My number was fourth and they took approximately 10-12 minutes. And then came my turn. The Panel consisted of 4 Male and 1 Female

Me - May i come in sir?
