NORTH EAST BPO PROMOTION SCHEME - FEW POINTS ALSO TEXT TO SPEECH

The Department Text-to-Speech (TTS) is a computer so􀅌ware which renders the machine readable text into human voice. The TTS software enables a voice interface listening written texts on a mobile device.of Electronics and IT (DeitY) has notified the North East BPO Promotion Scheme (NEBPS) under Digital India Programme with the following objectives:

1. Creating employment opportunities for the local youth in the North Eastern Region (NER), by promoting the IT/ITES Industry particularly by setting up the BPOs/Call Centres.
   
2. Promotion of investment in IT/ITES Sector in NER in order to expand the base of IT http://digitalindia.gov.in/newsletter/digital-india/jan-16/index.htmlIndustry and secure balanced regional development.

The scheme aims to incentivize establishment of 5000 seats in respect of BPO operations in the States of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.
