Eight friends A, B, C, D, P, Q, R and S are sitting in two opposite rows facing each other

such that each member of one row sits exactly opposite the member of the other row. In row

1, P, Q, R and S are sitting and all of them are facing south while in row 2, A, B, C and D are

sitting, facing north.

Moreover, each of the eight friends studies in different colleges, namely IIM Ahmedabad,

IIM Indore and Ahmedabad sit at the extreme ends of the rows and both of them are in

separate rows.

Q, who is not from IIM Bangalore, does not face A. The persons from IIM Lucknow and

Kolkata are immediate neighbours and one of them faces B, who is from Shillong.

The persons from IIM Ranchi and Kozhikode sit in the same row but they are not

immediate neighbours.
