PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK - Specialist Officers recruitment - August 28, 2011
Dear Friends:
Mr. Raja of Tamil Nadu has asked details about IT officers recruitment in PNB.
Please refer the link for full advt.
The written test is there for all posts. English, QA and Reasoning paper is same for all cadres.
Professional Knowledge paper will consist of 40 questions carrying 90 marks. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO SCORE MORE MARKS IN THIS SUBJECT. English carries 35 questions and it is only a qualifying paper. That means the marks scored by you in English will not be taken into account for the purposes of ranking. However you have to secure pass mark in this. I suggest you spend only 15 minutes for this and answer 25 questions. Do not spend more time on English. QA – 35 questions and 35 marks. But Reasoning carries 50 questions and 75 marks. Reasoning also can help you score more marks. Total composite time is 120 minutes.
I have put model papers for bankPO in this blog itself. You can go through English. Also go through Advanced reasoning papers put up herein. QA papers are also given here in the blog.
Regarding Professional Knowledge they will ask questions relating to your subjects only and refresh them once again. IT people can refer websites like
www.indiabix.com, www.freshersworld.com, www.geekinterview.com for IT related questions.
Best of luck to all those appearing for PNB exam on 28th August.2011. Please inform me about the test after attending it so that I can post herein for the guidance of candidates.
