HOW TO READ FOR BANKING RELATED GENERAL AWARENESS -P.O. AND CLERKS

Frequently I am getting requests from candidates for guidance for studying general awareness.

Important source for Bank PO and Clerks examination - is newspapers. It will be better to go through www.thehindu.com, www.indianexpress.com, www.timesofindia.com for six months. For example for September 2011 examination you will be better advised to go through newspapers, magazines from March 2011 to let us include August 2011. You may also go through Malayala Manorma Year book on topics like Banking and Economics.

Then a search in google.com News - India - Economy - for six months will also get some points you have omitted to notice in the newspapers.

I have posted a lot of general awareness papers in this blog. Many candidates do not know how to search this blog. Yes. You have Labels on the right side of the blog. Click that label you will be getting a list of blogs. I have put more than two or three labels in a few blogs in order to see that candidates are directed towards their favourite points. Hence when you make search for different labels a few blogs may get repeated.

Today I have made a search for different topics for general awareness -- banking related, economics, policy rates etc. and am giving the links herein.

Instead of depending on these links you can make search yourself also.

ANOTHER IMPORTANT POINT -- Whenever you get a doubt on a point -- you can search google.com. If you do not get it please send email to me. I will send the answer to you and if I do not know you will get intimation from me within two or three days.

I have put model papers for Bank PO and Bank clerks --You can search and get them. However in QA and data interpretation, I am not able to post graphs and tables. Leaving that other subjects -- GA, English, Reasoning, computer awareness will be relevant for all times and you may go through.
