CWE PO - Preparation Schedule - A suggestion
A candidate has requested to suggest time table schedule for studying for the CWE PO Exam. I am giving below what I suggest to him:
Do not worry about the time lost already. Plan for the days ahead of you.
Those who are not working anywhere you can plan like this:
Everyday - One hour each subject - English, Reasoning, QA, Computer Awareness, General Awareness (magazines and collections made already)--- 5 hours
One hour - Descriptive English -- reading letter writing, essay books. - 1 hour
Every day - attempt at least two subjects on a time basis - 30 minutes for QA, 30 minutes for Reasoning , 20 minutes for obj.English like this and attempt tests - check. Find out nature of errors. After that take half an hour each paper to complete the paper , check the answer and revise. -- This will take 2 hours
Newspaper reading - www.thehindu.com,. www.indianexpress.com hard copy papers - start from March 2011 to August 16, 2011.--this will take one hour
Total time allotted for this study - 9 hours per day
IN THE CASE OF PERSONS WHO ARE EMPLOYED -- I know they cannot study more than 4 hours a day. They spend more time in travel also. You may use 50% of travel time for reading newspaper if you are travelling in a train/bus/car. If you travel by two wheeler even that cannot be done.
SO EMPLOYED PEOPLE YOU CAN ALLOCATE SCHEDULE AS FOLLOWS: (RECOMMENDED)
YOU CAN READ TWO SUBJECTS PER DAY -- IN TWO HOURS
ATTEMPT QUESTIONS FROM TWO SUBJECTS, CHECK THE ANSWERS -- 1 1/2 HOURS
DESCRIPTIVE PAPER READING WRITING ONCE IN A WEEK - 2 HOURS
NEWSPAPER READING EVERY DAY - 30 MINUTES.
ONE WEEK BEFORE THE EXAM PLEASE TAKE LEAVE AND STUDY FOR 12 HOURS A DAY.
Besides sleep well at planned hours. Eat light food frequently to avoid getting sleep. Be positive. Keep your health good. Do not allow distractions. Once in a week you can watch TV for entertainment. Every day you can watch NDTV two times in a day - say 20 minutes each.
Do not spend too much time on talking over phone or net. For books -- see another blog --Book for preparation.
If you have any questions please send email to samba.ssivan@gmail.com
Best wishes
