Common Written Exam -P.O. - IBPS -
Today I got an email from a candidate asking for date of common written examination to be conducted by IBPS. Exam. date is September 18, 2011.
Now that the application stage is over, next stage is preparation for the examination. I am giving below relevant portion in this regard taken from the website of ibps. Please download the advertisement from IBPS and store in your computer for future reference.

CALL LETTERS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION
The date of the Written Examination has been tentatively fixed for 18.09.2011 (Sunday).
However, the date of Examination shall be intimated in the Call Letter along with the
Centre/Venue address.
All eligible candidates should download their call letter and Information Handout from
the IBPS’s website www.ibps.in by entering his / her details registration Number and
Password/Date of Birth, after 04.09.2011. No hard copy of the call letter/ Information
Handout will be sent by post.
Candidates have to bring their call letter along with Original Fee Payment Receipt
(e-receipt/ NEFT payment Receipt) and their photo identity proof in original as
well as a photocopy while attending the written examination and will have to
submit Original Fee Payment Receipt (e-receipt/ NEFT payment Receipt) and
photocopy of the photo identity proof along with Examination Call Letter.
Identity Verification
In the examination hall, the call letter along with the Original Fee Payment Receipt (ereceipt/ NEFT payment Receipt) and a self attested photocopy of the candidate’s photo
identity such as PAN Card/ Passport/ Driver’s Licence/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook
with photograph/ Photo identity proof issued by a Gazzetted Officer/ People’s 12
Representative along with a photograph should be submitted to the invigilator for
verification. The candidate’s identity will be verified with respect to his/her details on
the call letter and in the Attendance List. If identity of the candidate is in doubt the
candidate may not be allowed to appear for the Written Examination.

Decision of the IBPS in respect of all matters pertaining to this examination would be
final and binding on all candidates.

sir, i have applied for CWE PO/MT and paid the application fee through online mode...but i did not receive e-receipt..please help me to get my e-receipt

Follow the link from bank's website to download call letter. At login page, enter the
REGISTRATION NO. & PASSWORD
or
REGISTRATION NO. & DATE OF BIRTH
at the required places to download the Call Letter.
2. What should I do if there is lot of delay in accessing the page?
Internet based Call letter download depends on various factors like Internet Speed, large number of Applicants trying to download the Call Letter at the same time etc. Therefore, if you are not able to download the Call Letter immediately, please retry after a gap of 5 minutes or during off-peak hours during the night.
3. Where do I get the REGISTRATION NO. & PASSWORD?
REGISTRATION NO. & PASSWORD are generated at the time of registration and displayed on the screen. These are also sent to the candidateimmediately upon successful registration, by way of auto generated email acknowledgement, at the email address registered by him.
4. My DATE OF BIRTH is rejected on login screen?
Candidate should ensure that the DATE OF BIRTH is same as he had entered at the time of registration. Candidate can refer the APPLICATION PRINT for the DATE OF BIRTH entered by him.
5. I am unable to login / screen displays the login failed message?
Please check yourentries in login screen. You should use REGISTRATION NO. & PASSWORD as received at the time of registration by displaying on the screen and also mailed to you in auto generated email acknowledgement. Please note that the PASSWORD is case-sensitive, and should be entered correctly. Also, make sure that the DATE OF BIRTH you have entered is same as you entered at the time of registration and printed in the application print.
6. I have registered more than one application?
In case you have registered more than once, only last registration is retained. Therefore, to download your Call Letter, you must enter the registration No. of the application that you submitted last.
7. I am unable to generate call letter?
Candidates are advised to attempt login for downloading call letter at least 3 to 5 times at different time period, if still unsuccessful, they may contact the Organisation and / or write to us at callletter_helpdesk@ibpsorg.org with the text of auto-generated email received at the time of registration or scanned copy of registered application.
Any communication without scanned copy of registered application or auto generated email (received at the time of registration) will not be entertained.
Also be talk to them over phone. send email. Normally candidates pay through banks. Please check up in the advt. what is given.
